Just a note of thanks on behalf of Marie and myself regarding the property we purchased on Sparrow Lane .
When you called on Sunday evening to tell us that our offer was accepted you may have found my reaction somewhat strange in that it was low-key or cold . However , what you encountered was a touch of shock as my expectation was that you would call with news of a counter offer or even that the price quoted was an error in the first place so when I heard the offer was accepted I was stunned to say the least and thus the reaction.
We are very happy about this purchase and excited about moving to Wasaga - new life style , new experiences etc. The work you and Liz did setting up a good variety of properties in our price range to visit is much appreciated and gave us a good overview of types available and the area allowing us to focus on the west side . I know Liz was working away in the background setting up the visit to Sparrow Lane at the end of the day - I thought it was just going to be a driveby so going into the house was a surprise but not as much of a surprise as the price. We don't mind the corner lot especially given the price break. Bottom line is we believe you got us a lot of house at a great price. The purchase has exceeded our expectations by giving us a new house with most of the features we wished for while being well within our budget. We are still getting over the pleasant surprise of going up Saturday and having the signed deal in our hands on Monday.
Glenn , your attention , professional advice and direction was outstanding . Job well done . Thanks go to Liz for her efforts in the background which I am sure played a big role in the success of our house search .
